Mental Capacity Act – What to do when there is disagreement



This module will be relevant to anyone that cares for someone who may lack capacity in some area of their life. It will be of particular interest to care managers, social workers, medical staff and senior care staff.

This module explores what kinds of disagreement can arise in relation to the Mental Capacity Act 2005, why we see and experience disagreements around the Act and different routes, both formal and informal by which disagreements can be solved.
