Our Board Support Team

To support the Board to achieve its Strategic Plan and focus on the Board's priorities, we have a team of Board support staff.

Board Support Team Manager

The Board Support Team Manager has oversight and manages the work of the Board. This includes facilitating a multi-agency approach to Board business, having oversight of Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SARs), the Board’s assurance work, and policy development.

The Board Support Team Manager works closely with the Independent Chair of the Board, to monitor and review the progress of the Board’s Strategic Plan. 

Senior Data and Support Officer

The Data and Support Officer works closely with the subgroups of the Board. This includes leading on quality assurance work via work on self-assessment processes, audits, and assurance of learning from Safeguarding Adults Reviews (SARs) and qualitative and quantitative data analysis.

The Officer also leads on supporting the SAR process, the Board’s learning and policy work, and supports on wider Board workstreams related to the Board's annual business plan, annual priorities, and annual report.

Communication and Support Officer

The Communication and Support Officer manages the communications of the Board, including the website, the professionals' newsletter, Pass It On...News, and the Partnership news and training newsletter.

The Communication and Support Officer also leads on the development of promotional resources, and supports the organisation and promotion of events.

Board Support Officer

The Board Support Officer supports various workstreams of the Board subgroups. This includes taking forward recommendations and learning from Safeguarding Adult Reviews, through action planning, supporting multi-agency reviews and audits, creating and developing learning resources, and maintaining a relationship with the provider market to support them with safeguarding practice.

The Board Support Officer also responds to enquiries from professionals and assists with ad-hoc research tasks and report writing, alongside business support work, including planning meetings and minute-taking when required.

Board Administrator

The Board Administrator supports the planning, co-ordination, and follow-up work of all of the Board's meetings. This includes subgroups, the quarterly full Board meetings, and other events hosted by the Board.

The Board Administrator also assists the Board by responding to enquiries and providing additional support to members of the team as required.
